Terms and Conditions

The copyright in all photographs created by Colourbox Photographers shall remain in the property of Darryl Everitt and Beder Kaddouri in accordance with the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988.

Unless permission has been given in writing, the clients shall have no right to reproduce, nor to authorise the reproduction of, by any means whatsoever, any photographs created by us. This includes, scanning into a computer, photographing with an electronic camera, including a video camera, and producing either a hard copy on paper, film, or similar medium and also recording an electronic image on a computer hard disk, or any USB stick, disk or other recording medium.

The client hereby acknowledges that infringement of Darryl Everitt and Beder Kaddouri of Colourbox Photography copyright, is unlawful and maybe a criminal offence.



Digital files and prints

All digital files created by any photographer employed by us shall remain the property of Colourbox Photography who undertake to store all such files safely and make them available for future reproduction for a period of up to 2 years from the date of the booking with the school, nursery or college.

We always work explicitly within the May 2018 GDPR guidelines.

Purchased photographic prints and supplied digital files via CD or download will become the property of the Client(s). However, the client(s) specifically acknowledge that ownership of prints/digital files does not imply ownership of the copyright of the images on them, or any right to reproduce, or authorise the reproduction of such images for publication, advertising or promotion in any form unless our written permission has been granted in advance.



Advertising

Colourbox Photography use data responsibly and are fully complient with the GDPR guidelines as set out by the government. We never exchange or sell our images or database on to any third party companies. On making a booking with Colourbox Photography and any of its partnering photographers. Heather Brown, Beder Kaddouri, Darryl Everitt and Jan Kaddouri - the school, nursery or college is aware and grants permission for Colourbox Photography to use images responsibly of the pupils for producing literature that can be used only for promoting services to other schools, nurseries or colleges and also for use on the Colourbox web site which will be viewed by related bodies and the general public.

At any stage and in line with the GDPR rights of removal of data. Parents and schools can have any images relevant to them removed simply by written request. Please write with a full description of the image and location it is being displayed to: Beder Kaddouri, Colourbox Photography, Ticknell House, The Slade, Charlbury, Oxfordshire, OX7 3SJ. After authentication of identity, images where necessary will be removed from display within 21 days.



GDPR our responsibility

Colourbox Photography will never share or sell any data on to third party companies or organisations. We are committed not only to the letter of the law, but also to the spirit of the law. As a company we place the highest values on the correct, lawful and fair handling of all personal data, respecting the legal rights, privacy and trust of all individuals with whom it deals.

Colourbox Photography is registered with the ICO – (The information commissioner’s office) Registration number ZA336244. Our certificate is available to see on request, as is our full GDPR preparation and compliance documentation.
